Singapore women in the hunt for a medal
After drawing blanks in the first three events, Singapore women finally turned in a promising display by finishing third in the Women's 5-player Team first block at the Target 24th Asian Tenpin Bowling Championships on Sunday.
Singaporean wins first PWBA title
New Hui Fen captured the Smithfield PWBA Tour Championship 2016 at Uptown Alley on Sunday after defeating team-mate, Cherie Tan in the all-Singapore championship match, 258-235.

Singapore's New Hui Fen and Cherie Tan, Liz Johnson of USA and Rocio Restrepo of Colombia, advanced to the championship finals of the 2016 Smithfield PWBA Tour Championship on Saturday.
