Three Singaporeans make Step 2 finals
2016 PWBA Rookie of the Year, New Hui Fen, 2016 China Open champion, Shayna Ng and Muhd Jaris Goh made the cut for the Step 2 finals of the World Singles Championships 2016 after completing their third block of qualifying rounds.
Second spot for Singaporean
2016 PWBA Rookie of the Year, New Hui Fen added a superb 893 series in the Women's second block of qualifying round at the World Singles Championships 2016 to take up second position as Birgit Poppler of Germany remained in pole.
National champion retains title
21-year-old two-time national champion, Tracy See successfully defended yet another title when she romped to a comprehensive win in the stepladder finals to retain the Youth Girls' Open crown at the 17th Milo International Junior All-Stars Championships.
Singapore men make good progress
Singapore's Muhd Jaris Goh and Marcus Kiew made good process after completing the second block of the Men's Squad 1 qualifying rounds on Day 2 of the World Singles Championships 2016 on Monday as John Janawicz of United States took over the lead.
Singapore women in top 20
World Singles Championships 2016 debutants, New Hui Fen and Shayna Ng completed the Women's first block of four games qualifying rounds in ninth and 17th positions as Germany's Birgit Poppler and Laura Beuthner finished one-two.

16-year-old Cheah Ray Han, became the youngest to be crowned national champion with victory in the Men's Open stepladder finals of the 47th Singapore National Bowling Championship while Tracy See successfully defended her Women's Open crown.
Singapore wins Seotopo Cup
Singapore emerged as overall champion of the 30th Asian Intercity Bowling Championships to win the Seotopo Cup after Doubles gold medallist, Tay Hui Wen picked up the bronze medal in the Women's Masters event.
Singapore adds silver and bronze
Singles gold Amanda Lee, Doubles gold, Joy Yap, Tay Hui Wen and Iliya Syamin added a silver medal after finishing second in the Team of Four event of the 30th Asian Intercity Bowling Championships while Singapore men took the bronze.
