Shayna Ng was awarded the Straits Times Star of the Month of December award after the Singaporean shot to the top of of bowling's perch by winning the coveted QubicaAMF Bowling World Cup in Wroclaw, Poland in November 2012.

2011 Asian ranked No. 1, Shayna Ng was crowned 48th QubicaAMF World Cup champion and becoming the second Singaporean to win the coveted title while Syafiq Ridhwan made history by winning the Men's title for Malaysia.
