The 25th Asian Intercity Bowling Championship will be held at Orchid Bowl, Orchid Country Club from 12th to 17th October. A total of 68 men and 36 women representing 17 cities have submitted their entries to this event.

The tournament will commence on 12th October, 2011 with the arrival of the delegates and team manager’s meeting. The Asian Intercity Bowling Council (AIBC) Executive Meeting and the AIBC General Assembly will also be held on that day. Official practice and the opening ceremony will be on the 13th of October. The final day will be on the 17th of October.

"This championship provides an affable environment for alternative bowling organisations, like the Asian Intercity Bowling Council, to not only promote the sport of bowling and nurture young bowlers but also enhance relations among Asian cities," said Mrs Jessie Phua, President of the Singapore Bowling Federation.
