The "36th CDL National Championship 2005" is a tournament open to any Singapore citizen or permanent resident who are members of clubs affiliated to Singapore Tenpin Bowling Congress and whose membership is current for the duration of the championship.

The championship will be held from 18th - 25th June at Cathay Bowl Safra Tampines (1/A Tampines St 92, Safra Tampines Clubhouse.

The format of play will be the All-Events format of Singles, Doubles & Quartet, with only one attempt allowed per bowler and the top All-Events’ scores qualifying for the Masters’ Final. Each bowler will bowl 6 games each in the Singles, Doubles and Quartet.

Masters Qualifying Format
A bowler is allowed to qualify for the Masters’ Finals by making their attempt through the Masters’ Qualifying format (MQ) if they did not qualify through the All-Events scores. The bowler’s MUST complete their All-Events format in order for their MQ scores to be valid. The bowler will bowl a 4 game series per MQ. Multiple attempts are allowed.
